Dana rapidly established himself as a singer of exceptional musicianship, warmth, style and character. The startling agility of his voice along with musicality and stamina have delighted audiences in countries as far apart as Bophuthatswana, Germany, Botswana, The Czech Republic, South Africa, the United States and the UK, where he has been received with great acclaim.
Dana excels at Lieder and Oratorio, and highlights of his performing career include participation in the Nelson Mandela Tribute Concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall, a performance of the ‘Messiah’ in Bophutatswana for President Lucas Mangope, Mass in B Minor by Bach, under Simon Preston, Carmen under Garcia Asencio, Acis and Galatea under Grahard Geist and Salome under Franco Ferraris.
After obtaining the B Mus degree [with distinction for both Piano and Singing as Practical Majors], Dana did the Higher Diploma in Education. He then went on to obtain the B Mus Honours [cum laude] and M Mus [cum laude]. Research towards his Master’s degree in the UK was made possible with grants from the Ernest Oppenheimer Memorial Trust Fund of Anglo American as well as the Haggie Trust Fund.

Anne and Dana are the most talented and welcoming musicians I have met. My 5 year old granddaughter took the lead part in Cinderella last night and sand a perfect rendition of Where is Love. Thank you Anne!! Tonight she is singing Ombra Mai Fu. No mean feat to teach a five year old a Handel Aria!!! Brilliant and I cannot recommend this academy highly enough. I now sing with Dana and that is such a privilege. Five star!!
I have been having lessons with Dana since March and have seen such a difference in my voice. He will push me to reach the higher notes that I thought were not possible for my voice. He has helped me to practice in confidence for auditions, and best of all the lessons are a massive stress relief from my job as a teacher.
